Shu Chang is a bachelor of aircraft design from the School of Aeronautical Science and Engineering, Beihang University. After graduating from undergraduate, Shu Chang entered the Guanghua School of Management of Peking University to study for a master’s degree in economics; he participated in the investment in aerospace engineering subordinate to the China Academy of Launch Vehicles and aerospace stars subordinate to the China Academy of Space Technology. He once worked in the Aerospace Science and Technology Group; from 2013 to 2015 In 2009, Shu Chang worked at Legend Holdings. In August 2015, Shu Chang registered Zero One Space Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. in Beijing; this is the first private enterprise in China that says “Carrier Rocket and Other Spacecraft” on its business license.
