The brand name FACEON is a breakthrough in self-awareness and a positive attitude that designers want to convey to consumers. The concept began in 2008, when the designer was full of passion and expectation every day, so the earliest FACEON implied “face with smile”.

Designer Huang Guangchen WORK TIME, in 2019, after more than ten years of accumulation and precipitation, the brand was officially founded and named FACEON LAB. Its meaning has also changed. Today's FACEON represents a kind of “looking up”, not bowing or compromising.

Huang Guangchen, the founder and principal designer of the FACEON LAB brand, said: “Because clothes can also speak, so what you see is what FACEON is like.”

He said: “We will try to do some more pioneering experimental designs. The understanding of the product starts from finding the lack of ourselves and seeking a self-breakthrough. Regarding the brand and design style, I did not use subjective thinking to define it. I The concept I hope to convey to consumers is: see with eyes and feel with heart.”

The superficial meaning of this rebellious culture is simple and rude campus gangs and bad culture, but it is a kind of release in the bones. A tribute to youth is a process of expressing dreams, frustrations, growth and transformation.

After many years, we will look back on this youth, perhaps full of deep friendship, young love, childish behavior, but it may make us burst into tears at a certain moment. It may be a kind of sadness, maybe a kind of unwillingness, maybe a kind of calmness and relief, maybe it is the memory we never want to change back.

People will use all means to disguise themselves as creatures. This season, the designer boldly adopted some avant-garde cultural collisions, combining the element evolution of traditional Chinese culture and Hanfu with Japanese “bad” campus culture and BOSOZOKU culture (BOSOZOKU) for an interesting and bold combination. Each era has its own cultural symbols, and each country has its own cultural characteristics. This combination reflects the individuality of Japanese youth in pursuing themselves, and also reflects contemporary Chinese youth's pursuit and shaping of traditional culture.

In the whole series, the fabrics use the combination of technological fabrics and traditional fabrics, and the cutting also uses a lot of structuralism classic dismantling and reorganization.
