MoHanYun is a transliteration brand, the Chinese is “墨晗韵”. “Mo”, there was Mozi in ancient times. About 468 BC, he named time “Jiu” and space named “Yu”, thinking that time and space are continuous and uninterrupted. “Han” means heaven will be bright, welcome beauty and give hope. Therefore, the meaning of “Mohan” symbolizes the inheritance of a kind of thought and the continuation of traditional culture, aiming to promote clothing culture in the creation.
Lan Tian, the founder of MoHanYun brand and the principal of Shaoxing Mohan Cultural Design Co., Ltd. Lan Tian is a selected designer of the 10th 10+3 SHOWROOM Young Designer Base Program and a teacher of the Fashion Department of the Art and Design College of Changchun University of Technology. He has won many awards before.
Designers treat people as themselves, respect the beauty of nature, advocating simple and elegant style, persist in individual fashion, grasp the elements of the times, interpret the heritage of clothing culture, and draw boutique clothing with ingenuity and pursuit of perfection.
The clothing design of this series of AW21 closely revolves around the characteristics of the times, in-depth study of the popular silhouettes, styles and other clothing structures at the time, further breaking and reorganizing the original elements, retaining the “symbol” characteristics of the 70s, and closely integrating modern fashion styles, which is in line with the contemporary Aesthetic standards also carry the traces of the years, forming mass boutique clothing with a sense of comfort as the mainstay, a sense of age as the backing, and popular colors as the main melody.
The creative inspiration comes from the urban life in my country in the 70s. It was a turning point for the Chinese economy at that time, and it was a “new starting point” for taking off. People’s pursuit of beauty and choice of clothing gradually merged into the tide of the times.
MoHanYun uses large lapels, popular colors and other elements to combine seamlessly with modern fashion. The distinctive design style not only allows more flexible matching space for accessories, but also gives consumers the choice of individual beauty.
