Designer Lin Yande writes his English name upside down to form a new vocabulary
Create a new utopia without limitation.
Lin Yande, the founder of the Nildet brand, graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts/Westminster Men’s Wear Department, and received the Gold Medal in the 28th Han Silk Award China International Young Designer Fashion Competition.
Lin Yande embodies the growth process and personal experience of traveling through different cities like an outsider in the design, aiming to create clothes for marginal people who are not in line with the mainstream.
Inspiration is drawn from a wide range of reference sources, and the perspective of outsiders is shown through specially designed unconventional details: functional details and diverse silhouettes, personal color printing and deconstructed design language to show the experimental spirit that escapes convention and rebellion .
Nildet’s design aesthetics draws on a wide range of reference sources, using personal characteristics and awkward details specifically designed to show an outsider’s perspective.
Functional and genderless silhouettes, unusual prints and deconstructed designs show experimental nature while following the brand’s brand spirit of escaping convention and rebellion.

Like the “sampling” creative methods of music creators, Nildet’s first series also focused on multiple references and visual directions: Internet Meme, Homoerotic, Motorsport, and suburb culture.
The series attempts to examine the images I have collected during Internet surfing. There are many similarities or contrasts in different backgrounds between the East and the West, as well as the coincidence and consistency of products under different concepts.
At the same time, the series combines the stitching details of uniforms and racing equipment and the lines of women’s bras. The stitching line coat inspired by racing suits and the tunic suit designed with straps are matched with metal chains, tapestries and straps and other stock materials are repurposed to transform into With the sustainable design of vintage Chinese-style printed bras and jackets, the recycled metal keys are turned into embellishments.
The design process of the entire series is like the re-creation of Internet meme, giving images new content, and trying to reorganize the traditionally recognized “masculinity” and “feminine” clothing language to present a non-binary gender design.
